IDPs FOOD RELIEF: Jobbore IDP Camp and Unguwan Hona IDP Camp, Girei LGA, Adamawa state

"WHO IS NOT AN IDP IN NIGERIA?"
While we distributed food to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Jobbore and Unguwan Hona IDP camps in Girei LGA, Adamawa state, a crowd of people who saw the relief truck followed it into the distribution centre. Every attempt to get them to leave proved abortive. Some pleaded for just a cup of Garri. Our team informed an elderly man that the food was for the IDPs.
He replied, "Who is not an IDP in Nigeria?"
The statement highlights the acute hunger in the land. Those who retain their ancestral lands and live in their own houses are pleading for a cup of Garri. Imagine, even just briefly, how starved the internally displaced persons are. Fortunately, the food was sufficient for the non-IDPs to receive some help.
Once again, we thank all the brethren who generously and graciously contribute funds to help persecuted Christians in Nigeria. God bless you and replenish you abundantly.
We also thank our team members in Adamawa for another successful relief distribution exercise.
God bless you all.
Yours in Christ,
Bosun
