Lay Faithful Trust Foundation conducted relief distribution of clothes and medications to persecuted Christians in Warkan-Gora in July. The brethren in the community were attacked by Muslim insurgents in which 37 families suffered various degrees of injuries. 45 houses in Warkan-Gora were burnt and 8 women became widows.
Clothes and medications were distributed to the brethren. The medications are for the treatment of scabies, antibiotics for cough and catarrh, Paracetamol, as well as drugs for typhoid fever.
The project in Warkan-Gora was more of an assessment of the situation in the community. This would be the first time Lay Faithful Trust Foundation would be reaching Warkan-Gora. A repeat visit should be conducted in August.
We thank all the brethren who generously contribute resources for this ministry to persecuted Christians. God bless you and abundantly reward you.
We thank Victoria Fellowship Church for its consistent support and compassionate heart for persecuted Christians. We appreciate the Elder’s Fellowship of Bola Memorial Anglican Church for their support for this project, as well as the Lay Faithful Trust Foundation team in Kaduna state.
God bless you all.
Your brother in Christ,
Bosun
