Distribution of Clothes to Christian IDPs in Mallagum, Southern Kaduna

DISTRIBUTION OF CLOTHES TO CHRISTIAN IDPs IN MALLAGUM,
SOUTHERN KADUNA

Wednesday 8th February 2023

On 13th and 18th December 2022, Fulani herdsmen attacked Kaura LGA of Southern Kaduna. In the unprovoked and unwarranted attacks, 40 Christians were murdered, 178 houses were burnt (102 houses in Mallagum alone), 29 motorcycles were destroyed, and 2 cars were burnt.

Lay Faithful Trust Foundation conducted relief project on 5th – 7th January 2023 to succour the affected communities. During the relief project in January, it was observed that many of the brethren require clothing.

On Wednesday 8th February 2023, Lay Faithful Trust Foundation returned to Mallagum with clothes, donated by kind-hearted Christians, for the affected brethren.
