RELIEF PROJECT TO IDPs
Agatu LGA, Benue State
June 2026

THANK YOU FOR SENDING CLOTHES

In May 2026, we made an appeal to Christians. And you answered.

For years, violence has wreaked havoc on our brethren, leaving crying children and abandoned villages in its wake. In May, the cycle repeated itself: new sets of faces, ransacked of all happiness.

In Benue, militants plundered Christian communities with such violence that the residents had no time to carry clothes before they fled. In the Middle Belt, survival often comes by the skin of the teeth. When gunshots and Islamist chants shatter the silence at midnight, you run with what you wear, and nothing else. With the unusually heavy rains this year, the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs)—especially the children—needed shelter, and safety, and most of all, clothes on their backs.

Kind-hearted Christians around the country heard our call and rose to the occasion with an outpouring of compassion. Over the course of two relief projects, our teams delivered the donated clothes to the affected IDP community in Agatu LGA, Benue state. The first relief project was done in May while the second was completed in June.

But their support did not end there.

While both projects focused on getting clothes across to the persecuted brethren, they were accompanied with food for the IDPs and cash donations to the widows. All of this was provided by generous brothers and sisters who heed the call of Apostle Paul in Galatians to: "… do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith."

Still, the attacks continue.

As we strive to support the Christians in the line of fire, the enemies of God seek to erase everything, and everyone associated with the love of Christ. Eight Christian communities were affected in the horrendous attacks by the Fulani militia. They are: Ogwumogbo, Akele, Ikpele, Kpokpolo, Ejima, Ogbayi, Ole-gadakolo and Olegadapa.

But we stand firm in our mission, for the Lord has commanded: "…I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

Once again, we thank all the brethren who stand with the persecuted Christians in Nigeria and generously donate to succour them. Your kindness reflects the Light that darkness cannot comprehend. God bless you, replenish you, and preserve you from every evil in the land.

Your brother in Christ,
Bosun
